Iceberg Analysis: how to map the invisible layers of the organisation in order to provide the next step in their development

Most of today’s organisations are crippled with the fact that they really do not know their true sources of sustainable success or misery. This is because management in organisations are trained to run their business, not so much running their organisation. In expert-type of organisations, that are prevailing today, the motivation for the people who work there as employees come from degree to which they believe the future of organisation and how they are part of creating that future. Thus their commitment rests largely on the quality of organisation, i.e. how teams work, how potential is being used for development etc. This is why our research team is now developing tool, by which the true organisational reality becomes visible and accessible. This tool, that we call iceberg analysis, can be used for organisations of all kinds. We have also created a company, called Dramatic Consulting Group, to organise the interventions. In addition to surveys, we use a lot of various kinds of methods known from the world of theatre and drama to make the invisible visible.
